About the Event
This leadership lunch with Bob Cook of Dignity Freedom Network UK (DFN UK) will introduce the Indian caste sytem, exploring its structure and impact before demonstrating how the whole counsel of God's word speaks truth and justice to this and similar systems, with discussion of relevance for our own context, and testimony about how some Christians are seeking to minister in the increasingly challenging Indian context.
About our guest speaker
Bob Cook came to Christ aged 18, through the compelling testimony of a Hindu convert at St. Lukes Cranham near Upminster, Essex. He has been married to Molly, also a Hindu convert, since 1999. A growing interest in the needs of South Asia's poorest communities led to Bob leaving many years in retail management to serve Dignity Freedom Network ( DFN UK ) as part of a global team working to raise awareness and to help connect churches and individuals…
