Chatteris Community Church

Chatteris Community Church is a group of people who started meeting publicly as a new church in Chatteris in June 2010. Their correspondent writes: “The one thing we all have in common is lives changed by God through Jesus Christ.  We all want to live for God and please Him rather than ourselves, because we have all experienced His great love. God sent Jesus to this earth in the most marvellous act of love the world has ever seen. Jesus died a cruel death in our place. He took the guilt and punishment for our sin and brought us into a new, real and living relationship with God. That’s why we meet together to thank Him, and hear from the Bible how he wants us to live.

The meetings are conducted in a simple way and in a friendly atmosphere. All are welcome.

We constituted as a church on 1 December 2012 and welcomed Robert Read with his wife Jackie to the pastorate.”

The entrance to the Centre is from King Edward Road, which is a one way street  with access from the direction of the High Street (B1050).
